Logan University Names Ellen Dickman as Director of its Learning Resources Center

Logan University has announced the appointment of Ellen Dickman, MA, as the director of the school’s Learning Resource Center. She reports to Dr. Carl Saubert, Logan’s vice president of academic affairs.
Ms. Dickman brings more than 15 years of professional library experience in medical, science and business research to her position at Logan. Most recently, she was the learning resource manager for Career Education Corporation’s Sanford-Brown College in St. Louis. Previously, she spent 10 years at the American Optometric Association as a collection development specialist and, later, as head librarian. Prior to that time, she worked as a reference librarian at Webster University and St. Charles Community College.
Ms. Dickman holds a Master of Arts in library and information science from the University of Missouri-Columbia (UMC), where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts in language arts and journalism education. She is a member of the St. Louis Medical Librarians and Special Libraries Association.
