Logan Hare in the Air Egg Hunt FAQ

The Hare in the Air egg hunt is Saturday, March 23, 2013, on the Logan College campus at 1851 Schoettler Road.

Egg hunts are for children ages 2–8. Egg hunt areas are divided by age groups: 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4- and 5-year-olds and 6-, 7- and 8-year-olds. Older children may attend the event and enjoy other activities, but may not participate in the hunts.

  • Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the bunny will arriving at 11 a.m.
  • Arrive prior to the bunny landing (11 a.m.) to register your child.
  • Bring a basket or bag for your child to collect the eggs.
  • No parents are allowed in the hunt areas. There are volunteers to help during the hunt.
  • Bring a camera to take photos of your child with the bunny.
  • The event is outside and will be held regardless of the weather, so dress appropriately.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the age groups for the hunts?
2-years, 3-years, 4-5 years, and 6-7-8 years. Children 9 years and older may enjoy all the other activities, but may not participate in the hunt.

My children are different ages. How can I watch both of them?
The hunts are organized by age groups with ample time between the hunts to allow you to get each of your children to their hunt area.

My child is almost 2, can she still participate in the 2-year-old hunt?
Yes, however the child must be able to walk on their own. No parents will be allowed in the hunt areas.

My child is 9, can she still participate in the hunt?
No, the hunts are for children ages 2–8. Your older child may enjoy all the other activities, but may not participate in the hunt.

Can I help my child in the hunt area?
No, parents will not be allowed in the hunt areas. There will be volunteers that will assist the children during the hunt.

What should the children wear?

The event is outside and will be held regardless of the weather, so please dress your child accordingly.

I have a special needs child; can I help her in the hunt area?
No, parents will not be allowed in the hunt areas. We will assign a volunteer to assist your special needs child.

Why do I have to register my child?

This allows us to give your child the appropriate sticker that they will wear for entry into their age appropriate hunt area.

Can I bring my dog?
We prefer you not bring your dog.

Will food be available?
No, we will not provide any food, and there is no place on campus to purchase food during the event.
