Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs to Show “Doctored” on October 31
October 30, 2012
Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs will be holding a special, all-school assembly on Wednesday, October 31, from 8:15-10:05 a.m. in the auditorium of the William D. Purser, DC Center for a special showing of the film “Doctored.” Second- and third-period classes are canceled in every program so that all faculty and students may attend the assembly. The film will be shown during the assembly. DVD copies of the film will be available for sale through SACA after the showing.
“Doctored” is a critically acclaimed film about the benefits of chiropractic care that issues indictments of a market-based health system predisposed toward prescription drugs and surgery when less invasive, less expensive methods might be more effective. It is important that everyone affiliated with the chiropractic profession be aware of the message conveyed in this outstanding documentary.
In lieu of taking attendance, each student will be given a raffle ticket. At the conclusion of the program, a special drawing will be held. The lucky winner will receive a new iPa4, just announced on October 23, on Friday, November 2.
