Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs Holds 51st Awards Presentation

Logan’s 51st Awards Presentation was held on Friday, April 20, at a special breakfast in the Purser Center in Chesterfield, Mo. Five graduates were recognized with special academic honors. They included: valedictorian Elisabeth Man Tai Pang -- summa cum laude (3.88 GPA or better); Anthony Robert Forrest and Loriann Marie Laugle -- magna cum laude (3.74 GPA or better); Jonathan Alexander Hutti and Jeffrey T. Neer -- cum laude (3.6 GPA or better).   

President George A. Goodman recognized Jonathan A. Hutti and Jason Bryan Williams with special Logan Legacy Awards; other honorees included: Elisabeth M. Pang, Basic Science Division Award; Chiropractic Science Division Awards: Loriann M. Laugle, Logan Basic Technique Award; Eric Brandon Cawley, Diversified Technique Award; Elisabeth M. Pang and Sam Rassoul, Division Awards; Elisabeth M. Pang, Clinical Science Division Award; Graduation Department Awards: Scott B. Kelley and Michael James Koch; Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications’ Picture Perfect Award: Elisabeth M. Pang; Nathan Jerome Sermersheim, Sports and Rehabilitation Department Award; Alicia D. Hankins, Postdoctoral and Related Professional Education Award; Elisabeth M. Pang, Radiology Department Award; Jonathan A. Hutti, Thomas John Monnig, Brett Lee Rappenecker, Nathan Robert Terry and Samantha Sue White, Research Department Awards; Malie Rachelle Gunselman and Michael J. Koch,  Student Services Awards.
                     
Health Center Achievement Awards were presented to: Jennifer A. Chatham, Anthony Robert Forrest, Gagandeep S. Gill, Phillip Augustine Henady, Garrett Rodney Jackson, Aaferti-Elra Aton-Amon Morgan, Elisabeth Pang, Shavonda LaKay Pannell and Austin Robert Weaver.

Health Center Senior Intern Assistant Awards were presented to: Trista M. Bringa, Jennifer A. Chatham, Elisabeth Ann Noel Edrington, Gagandeep S. Gill, Justin Skyler Hagy, Alicia D. Hankins, Duane Ray Hess, Garrett R. Jackson, Michael J. Koch, Melissa Nicole Mayer, Shavonda LaKay Pannell, Ashley Marie Randall, Samuel M. Saikia, Michael L. Sen, Nathan J. Sermensheim, Abby Leighann Sherwood, Luke James Staab, Nathan R. Terry, Austin Robert Weaver, Eric William Werner, Nicholas Michael Wittman and Dath Xiong.

Trimester-10 students honored for making the Dean’s List 10 consecutive times included: Loriann Laugle and Elisabeth Pang.  Jorge Elias Castillo Hernandez was honored with the Dr. Al Chamberlain Student Doctor Award by the Logan College Alumni Association.

Seven graduates were selected for inclusion in the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. They are: Anthony Forrest, Jonathan Hutti, Loriann Laugle, Jeffrey Neer Jared Newman, Elisabeth Pang, and Nathan Sermersheim.
