Laurinda Smith Named Director of Academic Data Services at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs President George A. Goodman, DC, FICC, has announced the appointment of Laurinda G. Smith to the position of director of academic data services. Ms. Smith will report to Dr. Angela Reeves McCall, associate vice president of academic affairs.
Ms. Smith brings more than 15 years of post-secondary experience in institutional research activities including data reporting for internal and external sources, implementing and maintaining databases and electronic processes, and improving institutional effectiveness. For the past 11 years, she served as manager of data services at Saint Louis University. Her professional background also includes work as a statistical and information officer for Kansas State University, research associate for the Kansas Board of Regents, assessment technician for the Wichita, Kan., Public Schools, research analyst for IBM Global Services, and Senior Marketing Assistant for Cigna Property & Casualty Companies.
Ms. Smith is a member of the Association for Institutional Research and the Mid-America Association for Institutional Research. She is a graduate of Wichita State University.
