Logan’s achievement in ensuring the success of its students and alumni can also be measured through the compilation of information from various indicators, including student loan default rates. A cohort default rate is the percentage of borrowers who enter repayment on certain FFEL or Federal Direct Loans during a particular federal fiscal year and default or meet other specified conditions prior to the end of the next fiscal year. Since the 2003 cohort default fiscal year, Logan has consistently had a rate of less than 1.1 percent.
