Steve RobertsSteve Roberts Reelected Chairman of the Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs Board of Trustees; Other Board Reappointments Announced

Prominent St. Louis businessman Steve Roberts, JD, LLM, has been reelected to a fourth three-year term on the board of trustees at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs and also reelected chairman of the board. Other St. Louis area residents elected to three-year terms as Logan trustees include Robert J. Stearley of Frontenac and Cynthia L. Baudendistel of Creve Coeur. Paul Henry, DC, of Baltimore, Md., Debra Hoffman, DC of Tampa, Fla., and Mark O. Reeve, DC, of Austin, Minn. were elected to their third three-year terms on the board. Dr. Hoffman was also reelected vice chair of the board. Those elected to their second three-year board terms include Anthony C. Bilott, DC, of Butler, Pa. and Christophe Dean, DC of Troy, Mich. Dr. Rodney Williams of Little Rock, Ark., who served on Logan’s Advisory Board, was elected to his first three-year term.

Foot Levelers, Inc. Pledges $750,000 to Capital Development Projects at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs
has announced that Foot Levelers, Inc. of Roanoke, Va., world’s exclusive provider of individually designed Stabilizing Orthotics and other therapeutic products, has pledged $750,000 to Logan’s Montgomery Health Center renovation, currently underway on its Chesterfield, Mo. campus, and Logan’s newly opened, Southfield Health Center off-campus. Dr. George A. Goodman Announces Reaccreditation From the Higher Learning Commission

March 2, 2012

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs has been formally notified of its approval for continued accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association (NCA), a regional accrediting body. According to Logan President George A. Goodman, DC, FICC, this is the first time Logan has received regional accreditation without having to provide additional required reports throughout the accreditation cycle. Logan’s next comprehensive evaluation by the HLC will not be due until 2021-2022. Read More >
 

Logan University Grants 176 Undergraduate Degrees at February 25 Commencement on Campus

Undergraduate Degrees to be Awarded at February 25 Commencement

February 23, 2012

Logan University will officially award the undergraduate degree of either Bachelor of Science in Human Biology or a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences to 176 candidates this Saturday. The formal commencement will be held on Feb. 25 in the William D. Purser, DC Center on the Logan campus. The ceremony will be led by Logan President George A. Goodman, DC, FICC; Elizabeth A. Goodman, DC, PhD, dean of university programs; and Dr. Angela Reeves McCall, assistant vice president of academic affairs. Logan faculty member Atanas V. Ignatov, PhD, chairperson of the Logan Basic Science division, will present the commencement speech.

A special awards presentation was held on Tuesday, February 21 in the lobby of the William D. Purser, DC Center on the Logan campus to honor those 25 Logan students who made the Dean’s List in consecutive trimesters. Dr. George A. Goodman, Logan president; Dr. Carl Saubert IV, vice president of academic affairs; and Dr. Angela Reeves McCall, assistant vice president of academic affairs, announced the Dean’s List honorees. A special awards presentation was held on Tuesday, February 21, in the lobby of the William D. Purser, DC Center to announce the winners of a number of student scholarships. The individual scholarships were provided by donors who set the criteria, in conjunction with representatives of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, for selection of deserving recipients.
