They begin undergraduate, graduate and professional classes this week as part of the spring 2012 trimester. Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs Offers Post-9/11 Financial Aid to Military Veterans

The colors of the holiday season generally are green and red, but yellow is an important color all-year round at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs through the “Yellow Ribbon” program for U.S. military veterans. Logan is a certified participant in both the GI Bill and Post-9/11 educational benefits programs which can be used for all academic programs at the school. If students qualify for 100 percent educational benefits, they can receive full tuition coverage for the Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science Degree programs at Logan. Read More >

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs' Orientation for new Students is January 10

Logan senior administrators will welcome new undergraduate and graduate students to the campus on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, as part of new student orientation for spring classes which begin next week. According to Steve Held, director of admissions, orientation includes a welcome from Logan President Dr. George A. Goodman as well as informational sessions with representatives from Logan’s departments of academic affairs, student health services, student services, information systems, financial aid, and research as well as the Logan Matthews Bookstore, Learning Resource Center and the Student Doctors Council. "Logan’s orientation program is designed to ensure that new students are aware of all the support systems that are in place to help them succeed,” says Held. “At Logan, we know that well-prepared students are the key in enhancing the future of the school and the chiropractic profession. Orientation is the first step in this important learning process.” |

Goodman, D.C., F.I.C.C., president of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, has announced a number of personnel appointments including several staff promotions at the at the school. Vincent McGee, director of media, has been named associate vice president of educational technology, Dr. Nicholas Farha has been appointed associate dean of educational technology, and Dr. Connie Hayes has been been promoted to assistant director of the BIOFREEZE® Sports & Rehabilitation Center on the campus. In the information systems department, Gregory George has joined Logan as network administrator while Eric Saller has been promoted to data support specialist. Read More >

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs held its 166th commencement for the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, in the William D. Purser, DC Center on the Logan campus in suburban St. Louis. The ceremony, which included the academic hooding of each graduate, honored 113 students with the conferral of the Doctor of Chiropractic degree by Logan President George A. Goodman, DC, FICC. Fourteen students received their Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation degrees from Logan University Programs. Read More>

Taking any final exam can be stressful. Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs was looking for a unique way to help its students reduce their test anxieties. The answer? Free milk and famous Doubletree Hotel cookies for Logan's 1,100 students, compliments of the Chesterfield Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center and Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs. The giveaway took place on Tuesday, December 13 in the Standard Process Student Center on campus and was a munching success!

Logan Honors Four Outstanding Students

Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs honored four more students for the Summer 2011 Dean's List on Dec. 8, 2011. Cassandra Bear, Laura Buck, Anthony Forest and Steven Antoniotti were honored for achieving six consecutive trimesters of Dean's List achievement.
