Logan Announces Renewal "3+3" Articulation Agreements with Several University Partners

George Goodman, DC, FICC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, has announced the renewal of several 3+3 articulation agreements with a number of undergraduate schools including California (Pa.) University, Indiana University—Kokomo, Middle Tennessee State University, Slippery Rock University, University of Nebraska—Kearney and Viterbo University. Logan’s Division of Enrollment Management, which engages science faculty at four-year undergraduate colleges and universities across the United States to establish these “3+3” articulation partnerships, currently has articulation partnerships with 47 institutions in 23 states.

The 3+3 articulation partnership agreements require students to complete the first three years of undergraduate study (90 semester hours) at their undergraduate “home institution,” then transfer to Logan to begin the Doctor of Chiropractic program. At the end of their first year in the DC program, these students are awarded the bachelor’s degree from their undergraduate college. The value of this arrangement is in the concurrent attribution of basic science coursework (taken at Logan) that satisfies the academic requirements for both the undergraduate degree and the Doctor of Chiropractic program.

At Logan, the program is implemented by the Steve Held, director of admissions, and Dr. Boyd Bradshaw, vice president of enrollment management. “We’re very pleased with the renewal of these agreements with our 3+3 partner schools,” said Dr. Bradshaw. “These are ‘win-win’ situations for all of the students who take full advantage of this outstanding program.”
