Shelley Sawalich, PhD, MS Shelley Sawalich, PhD, MS

Dr. Shelley Sawalich joined Logan University in June 2015 and serves as the Dean of Students. In this role, she has the opportunity to interact with and advocate for students. She brings a tremendous amount of experience providing management, vision and leadership for undergraduate and graduate programs that support academic success, professional growth and development for students. 

Dr. Sawalich previously served as the Director of the Academic Resource Center at Webster University. Prior to that, she was the Director of Academic Support in the Student Success Center at Saint Louis University. She has also served in various Student Affairs roles at The University of Alabama and Eastern Illinois University.

Dr. Sawalich holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Higher Education from Saint Louis University, a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
