Kenneth Bobis, PhD
Dr. Kenneth Bobis holds graduate degrees in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology (PhD) and Loyola University-Chicago (MS). His undergraduate training was in mathematics at DePaul University. From 2003-2007, he served as Associate Editor for Computers in Biology and Medicine and is currently on the editorial board of the Online Journal of Nursing Informatics. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality and a Project Management Professional as certified from the Project Management Institute, as well as a Master Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University. He is the former Chief Technology Officer of Mayo Clinic and currently serves as a Director in Mayo Clinic’s Office of IT Strategy and Architecture. Before coming to Logan, Dr. Bobis has held adjunct faculty appointments at several universities in the schools of Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Health and Human Services, Nursing and Biomedical Informatics.
Dr. Bobis’ research interests include computer architecture, healthcare informatics, distance learning, project management and quality improvement.
