Conrad Woolsey, PhD, CHES, CC-AASP
As a nationally recognized professional, Dr. Woolsey is a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sport Psychology Registry, a Certified Sport Psychology Consultant- through the Association of Applied Sports Psychology (CC-AASP), and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Prior to coming to Logan University, he was the Chair of Sports Studies/Coaching at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama.
Dr. Woolsey has received numerous teaching honors including the 2011 Outstanding Alumni Award from Northwest Missouri State University and, most recently, the Distinguished Guest Lecturer Award from the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla. He has been a professor and provided sport psychology services at Oklahoma State University, Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo., and the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Dr. Woolsey earned his masters and doctoral degrees in Health Education & Promotion with an emphasis in Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri. As an collegiate track and field athlete, he was an 8-time NCAA All-American, Big XII Champion, and NCAA National Champion.
