From the Students' Perspective:

I have enjoyed taking the master's in nutrition program and feel it was a great adjunct to my chiropractic degree. I plan to use my master's degree to creating nutrition plans for patients as well as teaching them how to read labels. I would like to be able to educate my patients on how to buy their food at stores to make better choices and to weed through misleading food labels. I will nutritionally assess patients to see if they need supplementation and help create meal plans for people. I will give recommendations for supplements that I feel will benefit patients based on their circumstance. The nutrition program has prepared me to evaluate the health of the patients and give recommendations based on their current diet and weight status. With childhood obesity on the rise, I plan to also have a child diet plan and advising available to my patients and help assist them on feeding a healthy family. I want to take my chiropractic practice and use nutrition to take their health to another level.
