Dr. Dennis E. Enix, Associate Professor
Dr. Enix is a 1995 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs and received an MBA from Webster University in 2006. Dr. Enix completed the CCSP and DACRB programs and is board eligible. Dr. Enix is an Assistant Professor of Research at Logan College and holds a research appointment at the VA Medical Center in St. Louis. He is the currently the Primary Investigator and Program Director for a $1.2 million dollar Federal Research Grant from HRSA to examine LBP and postural control in the geriatric population. This three year study is a collaboration between Logan College, Saint Louis University’s dept of Geriatrics and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC). Dr. Enix is also collaborating on a project to develop a finite element computational model of the Sacroiliac joint.
Prior to attending Logan College, he worked as a Manufacturing Engineer in the aerospace and defense electronics industry. Dr. Enix is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, American Geriatrics Society, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and a peer-reviewer for several medical journals.
