Conrad L. Woolsey, PHD, CHES, CC-AASP
Director of Nutrition and Human Performance
As a nationally recognized professional, Dr. Woolsey is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and Certified Consultant-Association of Applied Sports Psychology (CC-AASP). Prior to coming to Logan University, he was the Chair of Sports Studies/Coaching at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala.
Dr. Woolsey has received numerous teaching honors including the 2011 Outstanding Alumni Award from Northwest Missouri State University and, most recently, the Distinguished Guest Lecturer Award from the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla. He has taught and provided sport psychology services at Oklahoma State University, Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo., the University of Missouri-Columbia, and is a member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) Sport Psychology Registry.
Dr. Woolsey earned his master's and doctorate degrees in Health Education & Promotion with an emphasis in Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Following a long family tradition of decorated teachers and administrators in the state of Missouri, he earned a highly recognized Bachelor of Science teaching degree in Physical Education with a minor in Coaching from Northwest Missouri State University.
