Pamela J. Wakefield, B.S., D.C., D.A.B.C.A.

Associate Professor
Dr. Wakefield graduated Summa Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs in 1990. Her training included multiple chiropractic adjusting techniques, radiology, nutrition, use of physiologic therapeutics, exercise and rehabilitation, and observation of orthopedic and neuro surgeries. While in private practice in New York, she completed certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician. In 1998, she joined the faculty of Logan to teach in the outpatient health centers. At that time, she began to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and became certified in acupuncture acupressure and meridian therapy in 1999. in January 2010, she achieved Diplomate status through the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture. Currently an associate professor at Logan, she has supervised senior interns working with patients for more than 14 years. She has been working with veterans at St. Louis VAMC since April 2006 and started teaching nutrition in the Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters of Science programs in 2011.
