Howe Oration - May 28th

The 8th annual Joseph W. Howe Oration in Diagnostic Imaging will take place Thursday, May 28th beginning at 9:15 am in the Purser Center.

The speaker will be Victor Tong, DC, DACBR, and his topic will be Ethics in Chiropractic Radiology. Dr. Tong graduated from Logan in 1979. Dr. Tong is the first resident who started and completed a radiology residency program with Dr. Joseph Howe at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC). Dr. Tong has been teaching Radiology in chiropractic colleges for more than 31 years. Additionally, he maintains a private Radiologic Consultation practice in Southern California and teaches Chiropractic Education seminars in Cali-fornia and Arizona.

All third and fourth period Trimester 7, 8, and 9 classes on Thursday are canceled so students may attend the Oration and hear Dr. Tong’s presentation. Faculty, staff, and all other students are invited and encouraged to attend as schedules allow.

Memorial Service - May 27th

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend Logan's annual Memorial Service for anatomical donors on Wednesday, May 27th at 11:00am.

The service will either be held at the Pavilion or inside the Purser Center depending on the weather that day.

Philosophy Night - May 27th

All students are invited to attend Philosophy Night on Wednesday, May 27th at 5:00pm in Room 156A. The speaker for the night will be Dr. Jeffrey Lawlor and the evening's topic will be the origins of chiropractic and osteopaths and the importance of specificity.

All are welcome and there will be snacks!
