11th Annual Big Bash Returns to Logan

The 11th Annual Big Bash Connection Event will be held on the campus of Logan University on Thursday, July 9th between 5:30pm and 8:30pm inside the Purser Center. 

The Big Bash is an event designed to pull together local business people, associations, charities and chambers and serves as a massive connection event. The goal is to collaborate, cross promote and support one another.

The event is open to the public and students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. 

Tickets are $20 if purchased prior to Tuesday, July 7th. Price includes access to the event, hors d’oeuvres from 6pm to 8pm and beverages (beer, wine, soda, water) all evening. Learn more at BigBash.org.

Fredbird is Coming to Logan!

Students! The Student Doctors' Council will be selling St. Louis Cardinals tickets on Wednesday, July 1st from 11am to 1pm. In honor of the occasion, a special visitor will be on campus - Fredbird!

First SACA Meeting of the Trimester - June 26th

SACA will be holding their first meeting of the trimester on Friday, June 26th at 4pm in Room 156A.

There will be a brief overview of SACA as well as a few words from faculty advisor Dr. Montgomery and Logan President Dr. McDonald. All those in attendance will then enjoy free food and the movie "Doctored" will be shown.

Please RSVP so there's an accurate count for food.

July 4th Bookstore Sale

Stop by the bookstore wearing red, white or blue and receive 10% off on clothes and books! Sale items and BioFreeze/Sports Council shirts are not included.

The sale runs now through July 2nd! The bookstore will be closed July 3rd and July 4th.

SDC Selling Muny Tickets

Students! Logan's Student Doctors' Council will be selling tickets to the Muny beginning on Wednesday, June 24th from 11am to 12pm inside the SDC Office.

Tickets are available for "Into the Woods" on July 24th and "Beauty and the Beast" on July 31st.

Tickets are two for $20.

Welcome Dr. Shelley Sawalich to Logan!

Welcome to Dr. Shelley Sawalich, Logan’s new Dean of Students! Dr. Sawalich has a tremendous amount of experience providing management, vision and leadership for undergraduate and graduate programs that supports academic success, professional growth and development for students. 

Dr. Sawalich previously served as the Director of the Academic Resource Center at Webster University. Prior to that, she was the Director of Academic Support in the Student Success Center at Saint Louis University. She has also served in similar roles at The University of Alabama and Eastern Illinois University.

Dr. Sawalich holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Higher Education from Saint Louis University, a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
