Dr. George Allen Schwidde - September 1960
Dr. George Allen Schwidde, D.C. 86 of House Springs passed away on March 5, 2016. George was the beloved son of the late Roy W. Schwidde and Beulah (nee Weise) Schwidde. He was the loving father of David Schwidde and Carol (Bob) Herzog. George was the grandfather of Amanda (Nick) Allen, Lara Herzog, Anjeli Schwidde and Jessica Schwidde. He was a good friend to many.
George was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. After the war he came home to become a Doctor of Chiropractic; originally establishing his practice in Arnold, MO. Later he moved his practice to Imperial MO until his retirement in 2005. George also enjoyed the construction industry. He built many houses and room additions during his life. One of his greatest joys, in his later years, was riding his CanAm Spyder motorcycle and serving as treasurer for his church. George will be missed by his family and friends, but we trust that he has accepted the love that surrounded him and is at peace in the hands of his God.
SERVICES: The visitation for George is scheduled from 3-6 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Heiligtag Lang Fendler Funeral Home, 1801 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. The visitation will be followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 6:00 pm. The interment will be in the Old Argo Cemetery in Sullivan MO at 12 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
