Logan's Derby Night Races
On Saturday, November 10, 2012, Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs is hosting the annual black tie optional Benefactors' Dinner gala in the Purser Center Lobby. This year's theme is Logan's Derby Night, featuring Kentucky Derby-style horse races in the Purser Center Lobby.
About the Races
Each trimester, ASP, club and organization on campus could claim a Derby wooden horse to decorate and create a biography for the horse. There are 16 total wooden horses for the races on Saturday, November 10. Below, you can view the Logan Derby Horses along with their bios.
The horses are on display in the Logan Derby Night Paddock (the Administration Building Lobby). From October 24-31, the entire Logan community - students, faculty and staff - can choose their favorite horse. Prizes for the People's Choice Award are listed below.

People's Choice Awards in Order of Placement
- A free lunch for the organization/class/trimester - Xanthus
- A free breakfast for the organization/class/trimester - The Back Stallion
- Cookies and milk for the organization/class/trimester - Magis Potestas
At the Benefactors' Dinner/Logan Derby Night on November 10, 2012, all 16 horses will race for the roses. Prizes are listed below.
Run for the Roses Race Awards in Order of Placement
- WIN: $500 for your organization/class/trimester
- PLACE: $300 for your organization/class/trimester
- SHOW: $200 for your organization/class/trimester
