New Student Orientation

Welcome to Logan University! New Student Orientation is an event which prepares incoming students for life at Logan. Learn about Academics, Student Affairs Office, Financial Aid and more!

Orientation Schedule
Day 1 - January 3rd, 2017

Check-in begins at 12:30pm, formal program begins at 1pm
Required for all new DC and On-Campus Undergraduate students
Professional Dress Required
Fully Charged iPad Required (DC Students) or iPad/Laptop (Undergrad students)

Learn about Logan University and what it means to be a member of this community. Speakers will cover Student Health Services, Financial Aid, Career Development and Information Technology.

The White Coat Ceremony for DC students begins at 5pm and concludes with a reception. DC students will receive their White Coat during the ceremony. Friends and family are welcome to attend. The ceremony will be streamed live online.

Day 2 - January 4th, 2017
8am - 3pm
Required for all new DC students
Professional Dress Required
Fully Charged iPad Required

Lunch will be provided. Students need to bring their iPads for the day's program.

Learn about Academic Policies, a Year One Overview, Professional Conduct, ExamSoft and more. Doctors' Bags will be distributed.

Online-Only Students

Online student orientation will be provided via an interactive program though our learning management system, Canvas. For online-only students, all courses with a Canvas course site associated with them are released to the students one week before the start of the trimester. At that time, students will receive an email with instructions for accessing Canvas.
