Chiropractic Techniques

Chiropractic TechniquesAs chiropractic techniques have evolved and expanded in terms of use and application in recent years, the Logan College of Chiropractic and University Programs faculty has worked intensively to develop and refine teaching methods and to incorporate additional highly effective chiropractic techniques into the curriculum.

"We are very proud of our core chiropractic curriculum and elective course options," says Logan President George A. Goodman, DC, FICC. "We continually review research on chiropractic techniques in order to maintain a state-of-the-art curriculum, in order to offer our students instruction in our profession’s most effective techniques."

All Chiropractic Science Division faculty members have extensive experience in private practice; most practice currently.

"Our faculty members are highly proficient in their respective chiropractic techniques, and many of them hold or have held national leadership positions within their technique specialties," says Dr. Goodman. "At Logan, students can study under the most highly skilled practitioners of the techniques they select."

All Logan College of Chiropractic and University Programs students spend several trimesters studying Logan Basic Technique and its biomechanical foundation, the Logan System of Body Mechanics, and Diversified Technique.

In addition to the two core techniques, students at Logan College of Chiropractic and University Programs can now choose from eleven elective techniques. All students take at least two elective technique courses; many students take several. Some elective technique courses are taught on weekends, making scheduling easier.
