MOBIUS - Missouri Bibliographic Information User System MOBIUS is a consortium of over 60 college, university and public libraries in the state of Missouri. The network provides Internet access to the online catalogs of each of the libraries. This online catalog contains over 20 million items held by the libraries. Through MOBIUS, Logan students, faculty and staff can borrow books, directly or online, from any of the participating libraries. A statewide courier service picks up and delivers requested books five days a week, insuring prompt service. This is a free program. Welcome to MOBIUS (PDF). Back to Top
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Additionally, but separate from MOBIUS, an efficient interlibrary loan program offers Logan patrons access to books, within and beyond Missouri libraries, and photocopies of articles that are not available in the Logan collection. HEC Card
Logan College is a member of the Higher Education Center (HEC) of St. Louis. As a benefit of membership, Logan full-time faculty members may borrow books from other HEC libraries. An HEC card may be obtained from the Public Services/Reference Librarian. Cards are good for one academic year. MOBIUS is generally a better first choice than an HEC card. Back to Top

Senior Research Papers Each student is required to submit a thesis, with the research either done alone or with one or more co-students. Research can be done performing an experiment, conducting a survey or reviewing the literature on a topic. Since 1985 the Learning Resources Center has received a copy of each thesis submitted in April, August or December. The papers are available utilizing the Learning Resources Center's online catalog. Each paper is represented by a record. Information within each record includes the student(s), advisors(s), the title of the paper, abstract, subject terms and a link to the paper online. This online index is available 24/7. Instructions on searching for the Senior Research Papers are available. The handout is in PDF format and requires Adobe's Acrobat Reader. If you have any questions please contact the Learning Resources Center. A list of the participating faculty advisors is available for viewing. The list contains the grand total of papers advised, the number of papers advised in five year increments (1985-1989, 1990-1994, 1995-1999, 2000-2004 and 2005-2009) and the number of papers advised in a year. This list is for information purposes only. If you have any questions about this list, please contact Joel Shedlofsky. While creating bibliographic records, fourteen projects were found to have no advisor(s) listed. In addition, six papers representing six projects were found to be missing. A listing of these projects can be reviewed. If you have information on any project that has no advisor listed or have a copy of a missing paper, would you please contact Joel Shedlofsky.
A guide to JMPT format for citing senior research project papers can be found on the NLM website.
