1. Courses used for prerequisite credits for admission to Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program may not also be considered for transfer credit in the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program.
2. Coursework taken at non-United States institutions may not be considered for transfer.
3. A student must earn not less than the final 25% of the total degree requirements at Logan College of Chiropractic. Outpatient clinic requirements may not be transferred.
4. The applicant must meet the admissions requirements which were in force at the admitting institution at the time the student originally enrolled in the institution from which the transfer is being made.
5. Credits for transfer must have been awarded for courses taken in a Doctor of Chiropractic Program accredited by the CCE or in a program accredited as a first professional degree in one of the health sciences by another nationally recognized accrediting agency, or in a graduate program in an academic discipline closely related to the health sciences offered by an institution which is recognized by a national accrediting agency.
6. Only credits recorded on an official transcript of the issuing institution with an equivalent grade of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or better may be considered for transfer.
7. The coursework must be equivalent in credit and substance to that of the specific coursework at Logan College of Chiropractic.
8. Credits older than five years may be considered for transfer if the entering student holds an earned doctorate in one of the health sciences (e.g., MD, DO, DDS, DPM) or a graduate degree in an academic discipline closely related to the health sciences.
Transferring Credits To Our Masters Degree Program:
A student wishing to transfer graduate hours into our Master of Science Degree Program must meet the following requirements and current application procedures:
1. All coursework must be from a regionally or professionally accredited institution at the graduate or professional level and applicable to this degree.
2. The coursework must be equivalent in credit and substance to that of the specific coursework at Logan University.
3. Only credits recorded on an official transcript of the issuing institution with an equivalent grade of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale or better may be considered for transfer.
4. No transfer credit will be considered for life experience.
5. Coursework which may be considered for direct transfer credit must be no more than ten years old or have been applied to a degree which has been earned within the past ten years.
6. The maximum allowable number of transfer credits shall not exceed 24.
7. To be considered for transfer credit, applicants must complete the Request for Advance Standing form available from the Office of the Registrar.
