In this session of the 100-Hour Chiropractic Assistant Certification Course Dr. Courtney Zindrick-Lehmen is back with Exams, Vitals, Documentation. This is extremely important information for the Chiropractic Assistant or the CA-to-be who really wants to partner up with the doctor and be his or her right hand. In this 8-hour session Dr. Zindrick-Lehmen discusses, describes, and teaches the proper methods of taking vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse. She also describes the orthopedic examination, the neurological examination, the chiropractic examination, and the medical examination. Once you begin assisting the doctor with these important procedures and examinations the findings will have to be recorded and documented. Therefore, Dr. Zindrick-Lehmen reviews the methods and importance of good documentation. Courtney K. Zindrick-Lehmen, DC is an April 2007 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. She worked as a Chiropractic Assistant prior to receiving her DC degree and is knowledgeable in all aspects of the duties, obligations, and expectations of a Chiropractic Assistant.
