Suggested Pre-Chiropractic Curriculum
 
The following suggested curriculums would complete the academic entrance requirements to Logan University. If you have questions regarding options that might be available, please contact the Logan Admissions Office at 1-800-533-9210 or at loganadm@logan.edu.

The pre-professional education must total a minimum of 90 semester hours of credit earned at an institution or institutions accredited by a nationally recognized agency. Included in these credits must be a minimum of 48 semester hours in the course areas listed below with at least a ‘C’ or higher (2.0 on a 4.0 scale). All matriculants must have earned a 90-hour cumulative and prerequisite grade point average of at least 2.50 on a scale of 4.0.

CHEMISTRY  
A minimum six (6) hours of the chemistry courses must include pertinent related laboratory experiences. Biochemistry may be substituted for the Organic Chemistry Requirement.

PHYSICS & RELATED STUDIES  
Students may substitute the second Physics course with Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Statistics or Exercise Physiology. At least one Physics in this category must have a pertinent related lab.

Any college level courses in the English Department and/or speech, literature, and mass communications courses.

*Distribution of six semester hours in humanities and nine semester hours in social science would prepare a student to be eligible for the Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. A course in College Algebra is also required to earn the Human Biology Bachelor’s degree from Logan. Social Science areas include anthropology, economics, geography, history, management, marketing, political science, psychology and sociology. Humanity areas include art, drama, foreign language, literature, music, philosophy, and religion.
